A Falafel is a lightly battered croquette of delight, made of ground chickpeas, broad beans, or both. Here at Flames Falafel we produce our falafel using only the freshest and finest of ingredients. Our falafel consists of both chickpeas and broad beans mixed with handpicked herbs and spices (please see below for list of ingredients). We also add sesame seeds within our mix for that extra little touch. The result is in the flavour & we can guarantee you will never taste as good a falafel as a Flames Falafel!

The history of Falafel is very controversial, what we are sure of however is that Falafel first came about in the Middle-East as a vegetarian replacement for meat during lent. It has been speculated that its history may go all the way back to Pharaonic Egypt!

The shelf life of our Falafels is one year in its frozen state. However once your Falafels have been defrosted & are in a chilled state we advise consumption within seven days remembering not to refreeze the defrosted product.
